Posted by: Dave Ryman
Today, March 18th marks the 49th anniversary of the death of legendary child-prodigy, author, and MIT professor, Norbert Wiener. He is attributed to coining the word “cybernetics” in his seminal work, Cybernetics: Or Control and Communication in the Animal and the Machine. The book deals with communications or, engineering control systems, and has far reaching implications that span to the present.
