Michael Kremer
Michael Kremer, a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences
since 2003, is Gates Professor of Developing
Societies in the economics department at Harvard
University, a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution,
and the cofounder and cochair of bread,
the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis
of Development. He is cochair of the Center for
Global Development’s Policy Research Network
working group on pull incentives for vaccines. He
is also the author, with Rachel Glennerster, of
“Strong Medicine: Designing Pharmaceutical
Markets to Treat Neglected Diseases,” which will
appear later this year.
