The Humble Bundle promotion, offering copies of gaming books from the MIT Press, raised money for coding nonprofit
The MIT Press is proud to share that our recent Humble Bundle book promotion has ended, raising $16,005 for Girls Who Code with over 7,000 bundles sold. The promotion offered readers the opportunity to pay what they wanted for a bundle of MIT Press gaming-related books—including Game Wizards and Achievement Relocked—with proceeds supporting the national nonprofit.
We thank everyone who took part in this Humble Bundle initiative and helped make it a success, raising five-digit funds over a period of three short weeks. The money goes to a worthy cause, Girls Who Code, whose mission of closing the gender gap in STEM fields has touched the lives of young women and nonbinary individuals all across the country.
