In this BIT, the philosopher Phillip Gerrans examines schizophrenic delusions--the most common, clinically significant, and, in some ways, most baffling form of delusion. Drawing on recent work in cognitive neuroscience, he focuses on delusions of alien control and the phenomenon of delusions of thought insertion.
