Off-Track and Online receives Honorable Mention

We are pleased to announce that Holly Kruse, author of Off-Track and Online, has received an honorable mention in the Nancy Baym Book Award competition, sponsored by the Association of Internet Researchers (AoIR). According to the award committee, the competition was stiff, which lead to them highlighting two titles other than the winner. This is the first year that the award committee has ever offered an honorable mention.

This award recognizes the best scholarship of the Association of Internet Researchers, and highlights the breadth of work relating to the social and cultural dimensions of networked media. Off-Track and Online stood out due to its “innovative approach, originality and breadth of scholarship”.

Congratulations Holly!
