Mark your calendars for #SpreadingFacts: Communicating Science for a Better World. This one-day conference, presented by the MIT Press, the MIT Technology Review, and the Knowledge Futures Group, will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at MIT.
#SpreadingFacts will bring together experts in the practice and art of science communication and journalism for a day focused on understanding and maximizing the public trust in — and impact of — evidence-based research. Through short presentations, conversations, and interactive sessions, the event will illuminate what works in science communication today, from the perspectives of journalists, funders, professional communicators, media companies, technologists, scientists, and researchers elucidating the science of science communication.
Marcia McNutt, President of the National Academy of Sciences, will provide the keynote address.
