Following the pandemic-induced reckoning, Redesigning Work offers a four-step process for organizations to rethink where, when, and how we work. Gratton is a professor of management practice at London Business School. Redesigning Work is slated for publication in spring 2022.
Design for a Better World by Donald A. Norman
Noah Springer, acquisitions editor, has acquired North American rights to Design for a Better World by Donald A. Norman. In his fourth title from the MIT Press, a legendary design-guru offers four maxims based in design to help solve some of the world’s greatest challenges. His previous titles with the MIT Press include Living with Complexity and The Design of Everyday Things, Revised and Expanded Edition. Design for a Better World is slated for publication in spring 2023.
Notebooks of a Wandering Monk by Matthieu Ricard
Anne-Marie Bono, associate acquisitions editor, has acquired world English rights, at auction, to Notebooks of a Wandering Monk by Matthieu Ricard. One of the world’s most famous Buddhist monks, the author’s message about altruism, compassion, and the overlap between science and spirituality has captured the minds and hearts of people around the globe. His translated memoir, Notebooks of a Wandering Monk is slated for publication in spring 2024.
